A seedless hybrid between Red and Silver Maple with outstanding red fall colour in late September. Prefers soil ph of less than 7.5. Soil amendment required in high ph soils.

Moisture: It requires even moisture and does not tolerate soggy soil. To check soil moisture, dig a small hole and examine the soil. If the first 2-4” of soil is dry, it is time to water.
Suckering: Does tend to produce suckers from the roots of the parent tree. Suckers can be pruned to slow or stop their growth. Care must be taken not to damage the trunk tissue of tree.
Growth rate: Considered to be one of the faster growing maple trees.
