- More of a whip, but some branching has started as can be seen in the last two pictures where they have been grown in fields, then later dug up and potted.
The most sought-after ornamental feature of the Amur Maple Flame is the fiery red fall colour that covers the entire canopy. Average green to fiery red in the fall! Can grow as a large shrub or small tree depending on pruning. Very hardy tree that is not very picky to soil type or amount sun.
